The Art and Science of Structured Leadership

With Bringing Up the Boss author Rachel Pacheco, we’ll unpack the building blocks of creating structure - explaining how to do it well, and why cultivating this skill is essential to individual, team and organizational success.

The Details

It’s part of any Leadership 101 course: if you want to be a great leader, you’ve got to provide structure for your direct reports and teams. That means setting goals, expectations and timelines. That means holding people accountable. But creating structure is easier said than done, especially when you have to sort through all of the myths and dubious advice about how to do it well.

In this fourth Lead by the Book session with Bringing Up the Boss author Rachel Pacheco, we’ll unpack the building blocks of creating structure - explaining how to do it well, and why cultivating this skill is essential to individual, team and organizational success. During the live one-hour discussion Elizabeth and Rachel will talk about:

  • What ‘structure’ really means
  • The science around why it’s so hard to set expectations for teams & myths about goal-setting
  • How to help teams own their own development
  • Tips for becoming a great coaching manager
Register now! If you can't attend live, we'll be sending a recording to all registrants afterward.
